Stags Leap at its finest: wonderful aromas of rich, dark berries, cassis and soft leather...This amazing vintage is ready to share. Picked and delivered right to 4001 where the grapes were lightly crushed by Marko, Miles & John directly into our 1-ton open fermenters. It was punched down 4 times a day by Miles or Marko personally and then basket pressed when totally dry. On the palate, tannins are present but have incredible softness with great balance between the luscious fruit and gentle acidity. This wine will continue to age gracefully for many years. Lightly filtered – decanting suggested.
