Special Notice to the writers who share the Charbay story:  

Miles & I are thinking of you as we reminisce over 28 years of guiding Charbay Winery & Distillery.

We were young and full of ‘can do’ energy back in 1983 when we started up on our own. So many times we were challenged close to the breaking point. We continue working long hours and staying in touch with the great cast of characters that will always be a part of Charbay & our lives. Marko & Jenni add their boundless energy and ideas so it's more exciting then ever. We've always lived by putting our dreams into bottles and putting them out there. 

We salute your art and wish you a busy, successful year ahead. We will continue to share our adventures with you so you can work your magic & weave them into your story telling art.  When you carry your readers on those armchair adventures about artisan winemaking & distilling, you know what we share is truly hand made with the finest ingredients, sourced as close to Charbay as we can get our hands on. Clean, fresh ripe fruit - our biggest secret!
We remain very hands on.


        
       

What to anticipate from Charbay in 2012:

  • Marko is very excited about his whiskey barrel program and distilling Racer 5 into beautiful clean spicy whiskey... stand by.
  • The next release of Charbay ports; always made with the brandy we distill for them. 
  • Our next Grappa will be an aged Pinot Noir Grappa.
  • The Restaurant Brandy Program is coming.
  • Apple Brandy & Pear Brandy/Liqueur will be released...someday. Marko is trying to catch up with all they've been distilling! 
  • And more.
