Wed, Sept 19th, 5-8pm, Bourbon & Branch: Beer distilled into whiskey - the story of R5 with Charbay. If you have ever tasted Racer 5 IPA Beer, and you like to drink whiskey, then this event is for you. Marko Karakasevic, 13th Generation Master Distiller at Charbay, has been changing the way whiskey is made since 1999 when he released Charbay Hopped Whiskey, Release I. It was a single batch distilled from bottle ready Pilsner beer, and quickly garnered a ultra premium cult following. Jump forward to 2012 and the release of his newest innovation – R5 Whiskey: distilled from bottle-ready Racer 5 IPA Beer. April 14, 10-4: Arts in April at Charbay.Join Us At Charbay!
Come see local artists Will & Nikki Callnan throw unique vessels on their pottery wheels. Watch them work as they transform clay into beautiful forms before your very eyes. Want to give it a try? Guests are welcome to have a turn, just be prepared to get your hands dirty. The artists are available for commission work and will also have finished works on sale. They will have a selection of beautiful cups, mugs, bowls, plates and more on display. Charbay’s Alambic copper pot still will be running so you can experience and learn about the art of making whiskey, brandy, rum, tequila and vodka. Visitors may taste Charbay's Chardonnay, Cabernet, Green Tea Aperitif, Pomegranate Dessert Wine and '97 Distillers' Port. Cigar ambassadors will enlighten and help you pair the perfect cigar and port.

2012 March 8, 6-9pm: Straight Up! A Charbay Vodka Cocktail Competition at the Sheraton, Petaluma. Join Literacyworks, The North Bay Bohemian, Charbay Family Distillery, and ten amazing restaurants from the entire North Bay for the best cocktail competition in the North Bay. $20 gets you two drink tickets, live music, hearty appetizers and ten cocktails to taste, drink and vote for. Saturday December 5, 2:30 - 4:30pm - Artisinal Cocktail Class with Scott Beattie & Marko Karakasevic, located in CUESA dacor teaching kitchen in the north arcade of ferry building San Francisco. Bartender and author Scott Beattie will talk about seasonal cocktails and teach the group how to make 3 early winter drinks from his book "Artisanal Cocktails: Drinks Inspired by the Seasons from the Bar at Cyrus", the Meyer Beautiful (My, You're Beautiful), the Pelo del Perro (Hair of the Dog) and the Classic Margarita. Saturday, November 7, 3-7pm: PRIMAL Napa Valley. Taste Network presents “PRIMAL Napa”, the first annual, outdoor gathering of local butchers and chefs preparing a bounty of heritage meats over hardwood fires. Held at Chase Cellars’ Hayne Vineyards, guests will be able to explore chefs’ creations along side great California wines (including Charbay). The event will also feature meats and heirloom vegetables from Napa Valley’s Hudson Ranch and a multi-animal breakdown demonstration by local butchers keeping the art alive.
